Trade Marketing & Brand Activation in India
Help customers understand, try and choose your product.
If your product is listed but moving slowly, we examine demand, positioning, store fit, pricing and availability together. We then plan and execute relevant product education, visibility and trial activity within your budget, coordinating it with the shops and channels that can fulfil demand.

Scope
What's included
Best for
Brands launching in a new market or seeking to improve consumer demand and repeat sales where products are already available.
- Review the customer proposition, purchase barriers and local retail conditions
- Create relevant retailer pitches, product explanations and store visibility materials
- Plan sampling, demonstrations or local launch activity where appropriate
- Coordinate content, campaigns or creator activity when included in the agreed scope
- Measure response, availability, sales and reorders against the cost of activity
What is preventing purchase?
Poor visibility, an unclear message, an unsuitable price and unreliable stock are different problems. We look at store and customer evidence before choosing the intervention. More promotions cannot resolve every distribution or product-fit issue.
Where should demand activity run?
Choose locations and audiences where customers can actually buy the product. Match the message and format to the buying occasion: a retailer explanation, a demonstration, a sample or relevant digital content. Agree the production and media scope explicitly.
How should promotions be judged?
Assess trial and sales together with repeat orders, availability and promotional cost. Record the baseline and any supply or location differences. A campaign spike can inform the next test, but it does not by itself prove sustained demand.
Common questions
What founders ask about this service
Straight answers about how this works in practice.
What is trade marketing?
Trade marketing helps a product sell through its retail and distribution channels. It can include retailer education, shelf communication, promotions and consumer trial activity. It works alongside brand positioning and reliable stock availability rather than replacing them.
Why is my product on shelves but not selling?
Possible causes include weak demand, unclear positioning, unsuitable shops, pricing, poor visibility or stock and servicing problems. Review retailer and customer feedback, availability, sales and reorders before deciding whether to change the message, activation, range or distribution.
Are packaging design and paid campaigns included?
We identify the brand work and demand activity needed for the pilot, then agree deliverables, production, media budgets and responsibilities. Packaging or campaign work is included when it is part of that scope; it is not an unlimited package assumed for every pilot.
Part of your growth plan
Start with a focused pilot.
We understand your brand, product, category, competition and budget, then build and execute the branding and distribution plan that fits. Start with a focused 3–6 month pilot in up to 2–3 cities, learn what works in the market, and expand from there.
Brand understanding and channel planning are included in the pilot. We agree the scope, fees, execution budget and success measures before work begins.
